Creating Objects in Space
"Donut" - Age 18
Luxology Modo
I included the program in the image because people wouldn't think it was a real donut. No donut is perfectly round.

"Emotron" - Age 16
Bryce 3D
No, I do not have any clue as to why it is named Emotron. It just is.

"Palette" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
This was my first attempt at trying to make something non geometric with geometric shapes. Making the little dots of paint was tricky, because I didn't know how to precisely adjust the sizes of things yet.
"Art Table" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
This was modeled after my Mom's brush holder that she had from college. And my uncle's organizer that he used to store his art supplies. This and the palette were among the things I made for the interior space project shown above.
"Screw" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
I know I didn't have to, but I made the screw that holds the easel together. It doesn't even show in the final image of the room, but it's there.
"Dragonfly" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
The assignment was to make a dragonfly and then animate its movement. I decided to make mine really reflective, like real dragonflies.
"Frame" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
The assignment was to create a frame for a photo, add the photo into the frame, and demonstrate that you know how to use the draw tool. I will not elaborate as to what I was drawing, because it's embarassing.
"Temple" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
Because I was getting the hang of using Bryce 3D, I went back and fixed the cut out on my temple. It was now centered, and looked how I wanted it to. Almost like a magic tarp from a lost civilization.
"Umi" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
This was a more complex project, requiring us to demonstrate the use of transparencies, illumination, cutouts, geometric placement, symmetry, textures, and particle effects. No, it may not be amazing to look at, but it does all of those things.
"Flying Tree" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
The assignment was to create a fantasy style environment and demonstrate rendering. I chose the turquoise and gold because they reminded me of Egypt, and had a floating tree because I think nature is magical.
"Posterboard" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
This may not impress you, but it was the very first thing I made in 3D. I learned how to extrude and create facets, and how to add a texture to my model. I was mesmerized.
"Bike" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
This assignment was to create an environment and place the bike model in it. Learning the controls of a 3D program is tricky at first; you're not used to any of the mouse movements or which buttons zoom in and out. The second part of the assignment was to make the mountains, which was a lot of work.
"Studio" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
The assignment was to create a room. I chose to make an art studio, complete with my Mom's easel from art school, and the posterboard from my room. I added some photos that I had up on my real posterboard at home, and made thumbtacks for the board. The art on the easel is a scan of a drawing I made.
"Temple" - Age 15
Bryce 3D
The assignment was to use basic shapes to create a temple, add textures to the shapes, add a sky, and then demonstrate that you know how to use the cut out tool. I cut out a circle from the top, hoping to make the pyramid shape look almost like a tent.
